Back in 2012, Lamb of God was scheduled to play Heavy Montreal, however unfortunately, they had to cancel their appearance. Luckily for us, they’ll be ready to rock this year.

With 10 albums under their belts and a career that dates back to 1981, Anthrax are no strangers to Heavy Montreal. Playing its inaugural event in 2008, they also rocked out at the festival in 2011.

Anthrax and Metallica have already made our list, so it’s only right to include another legendary band, Slayer. We couldn’t think of a better band to close out Heavy Montreal on Sunday night.
